Van drop-off is super quick. We’ll have you in and out in about 10 minutes, but we’re always eager to hear about your trip. If you have a plane to catch, but still want to share your experience, you can always write us later. Please remember that rentals need to be back to the office by 11:00am.

Van Pick-up: Expect to spend roughly 30 minutes learning about the van’s facilities and doing a quick walkaround before departing. We’re always happy to spend additional time answering questions if needed.

Campervan pick-ups are scheduled between 1:00PM – 4:00PM. If you are unable to make this window, we’ll reschedule your appointment for the following morning. Travel is full of unknowns, so don’t cut it too close. Give yourself plenty of time when booking flights and arranging rides to our location. We understand that some things are out of your hands, and will do our best to accommodate you.

Excursion Van Rentals operates 9:00am – 4:00pm, 7 days a week. We’re always free to answer questions by phone or email during these hours, but we’re not always on site. There are some truly wonderful attractions in Oregon and we try to get out and enjoy them too. Please set up an appointment if you’d like to scope out our vans or chat in person before booking. Campervan rental pickups and drop-offs are by appointment only.

Rental pickup hours are between 1:00pm – 4:00pm. If you’d like to hit the road early, depending on availability, an early pick-up can be scheduled as early as 9:00am for a nominal fee. Reach out to us as soon as possible if you anticipate and delays while traveling.

Excursion Van rentals must be returned by 11:00am to ensure we have enough time to prepare for the next renter. Drop-offs after 11:00am will incur a small fee. If you’re en route and think you’ll overshoot the dropoff window, please give us as much notice as possible. A missed dropoff (without making prior arrangements) may require charging for an additional night.

The limit really boils down to how many miles you can drive! You’re welcome to drive your van rental anywhere in the US or Canada. Your rental includes between 75 and 125 free miles per night(depending on the season and promotions), but if you’re expecting to eclipse that, we suggest considering one of our additional mileage packages. 200 miles/night = $30.00/day. Excess mileage beyond any package will be $0.35 per mile. You can find our mileage packages as an add-on during booking, or switch to a different plan when you pick up your van.

You bet! There is nothing like a road trip with man’s best friend! Please take care to ensure you’re dog isn’t destructive and won’t damage the inside of the van with chewing or scratching. We do charge a $100 pet fee. The pet fee covers additional clean up for shedding and standard dogging in the van.

Probably not! All of our vans are 100% off-grid and require no hookups to operate the facilities. The longest model is 22 feet which is great for most campground tent-sites. Since all of our vans come equipped with solar and a battery bank you won’t be ‘that guy’ running a noisy generator harshing the nature vibes.

Yes. No additional fees beyond any extra mileage beyond the daily limit. Please refer to the mileage FAQ for additional info on limits and plans.

To make it easier for you we offer two insurance options. All bookings include our “Basic Package Insurance”. However, you can also upgrade to our Essential or Peace of Mind Package. Insurance rates vary depending the vehicle selected.

No. Please do not smoke in the vans.

The deposit is refundable up to 14 days before the rental. After 14 days there are no refunds. If the confirmed booking is cancelled before the 14 day cutoff, a full refund will be issued minus a 5% processing fee for credit card fees. We are flexible with rescheduling more than 14 days before the rental. Please reach out to reschedule if there are extenuating circumstances.

All of our rentals come equipped with an electric fridge, outdoor shower functionality, bedding, folding camp chairs and table, all of the kitchen utensils and inventory needed to cook great camp meals.

The first two approved drivers are free. Additional drivers are $15 to cover driver verification.

Nope! You only need a regular valid driver’s license from your country and you do not need a special license to drive a camper van in the USA.

Yes, we can deliver to renters within 10 miles of our facility for a fee of $85 each trip(pick-up and drop-off).

While it sounds like an amazing adventure we don’t allow our vans south of the border for insurance reasons.
